How we use cookies
This website’s application code is designed to minimise cookies for public visitors. We do not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, or similar marketing tags in this codebase.
Cookies we set in this application
The following cookie is set by NexTechVion only after a successful login to the staff admin area. Ordinary visitors to the public site do not receive it.
- Name: admin_session. Provider: NexTechVion (first-party). Purpose: keep an authorised staff member signed in to /admin. Type: strictly necessary for the admin area. Duration: 7 days, or until logout. Attributes in code: HTTP-only, SameSite=Lax, Secure in production, path /admin. Contents: a signed token that includes the staff email address and an expiry time.
Similar technologies (not cookies)
Name: nextechvion-theme. Storage: browser localStorage. Purpose: remember that the site uses a dark theme. Value stored: the word “dark”. This is not used to identify you.
Analytics and advertising
No analytics or advertising cookies are implemented in this website’s application code. If we add such tools later, we will update this policy and, where required, the way consent is collected.
Hosting and third-party requests
The platform that hosts the site, and content-delivery networks used for some images, may set their own cookies or logs. Those behaviours are not defined in this repository, so we do not list names or durations for them here.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies does not stop public pages from working in this application, but it will prevent staff login from remaining signed in. Theme preference can be cleared by removing localStorage data for this site.
